Šolta Island Boat Tours — Maslinica, Lagoons & Coves
The quiet green island and its storybook harbour of Maslinica
Šolta is the closest large island to Split and Trogir — a quiet, green escape of olive groves, fishing villages and clear-water coves. Its west-coast village of Maslinica, with the seven Šolta islets scattered offshore, is one of the prettiest harbours in Dalmatia and a regular stop on SeaExplore's boat tours.
Where is Šolta?
Šolta lies directly south of Trogir and west of Split, about 35–40 minutes away by speedboat. It's far quieter than Hvar or Brač, which is exactly its charm.
Maslinica & the coves
Maslinica is Šolta's only west-facing harbour — a row of stone houses, a marina and the Martinis Marchi castle, framed by seven little islands. Nearby Šešula bay and the island's clear coves are superb for swimming and a lazy lunch ashore.
How SeaExplore visits Šolta
Maslinica is a free-time lunch and swim stop on our half-day Island Tour, and Šolta is a highlight of our private Full-Day Drvenik & Šolta charter, which adds the island's hidden lagoons at your own pace.
